Terms of Service

Last updated October 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of Plate Studio's website and video ad service. By using Plate Studio, you agree to them.

The service

Plate Studio turns your restaurant's photos and public business information into video ads that you can edit and publish. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and everything done with it. Please give accurate information and keep your login secure.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and other material you upload. You give us permission to use that material only to provide the service to you, including generating, storing and publishing your videos. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload and to any business page you link.

The finished videos are yours to use for your business.

AI-generated content

Scripts, voiceovers and edits are produced with the help of AI and may contain mistakes. Please review every video before publishing. You are responsible for what you publish, including making sure any claims about your restaurant are accurate.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Plate Studio to:

  • Create misleading, unlawful or infringing ads.
  • Impersonate another business or person.
  • Publish fake reviews or misrepresent customer feedback.
  • Interfere with or try to gain unauthorized access to the service.

Third-party platforms

When you publish to YouTube or other platforms, you must also follow their rules. We are not responsible for those platforms or for how they handle your content.

Fees

If you purchase a paid plan, pricing and billing terms will be shown to you before you pay.

Ending your use

You can stop using Plate Studio at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers

Plate Studio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular views, customers or sales from your ads.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Plate Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Plate Studio means you accept the updated terms.
